Why do you log calls from your own \"research control\" model?
To test the whole live pipeline on ourselves first. We record calls from a simple rule-based model of our own, labeled research control: failed pre-registered backtests, and score them by the same rules as everyone else. It's there to exercise the system, not to suggest skill.
Details
- The control is a simple momentum rule on S&P 500 stocks, scored against SPY over 21 trading days. It failed our pre-registered backtests.
- Its calls test our recording pipeline. They aren't recommendations, and you shouldn't act on them.
- Its calls aren't shown publicly yet. We plan to show them, with that label, once Proof of Call profiles go public.
